When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12
Jesus Christ is the perfect example of righteousness, love and forgiveness. Jesus was sent by God to free us from our sins so we could find salvation and eternal life in Gods kingdom.
Jesus is the light of the world, the only human being who is perfect and sinless in Gods sight.
Without Jesus we are lost in the darkness because we would not have a true foundation of how to be righteous or perfectly caring individuals. Jesus is the light of eternal life in Gods kingdom and through him we become filled with perfect love and light.
The Lord also said...
"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:14
If you follow Jesus, you receive the glory and light that comes from God; and you also become children of the light. The Lords light cannot be hidden, nor should you recognize the Lords light and try to hide it. If you have received the Lords light... make it known to everybody. Let your light shine brightly, do what is good through Lord Jesus. Other people will recognize your good works and will glorify your Father in Lord Jesus' name.
Lord Jesus light will always remain inside of you, if you remain inside of Jesus. God bless your heart and soul in Lord Jesus' name.
